-R*: located on a property that was not covered by the DOD/Corps survey but which we have concluded is likely a former training range based on information such as the name of the property (for example, names including "bombing range" or "bombing target") and the project description (for example, projects described as OEW cleanup projects at a bombing range or target); based on such criteria, we found over 200 properties that could be ranges


• PRP: potentially responsible parties besides DOD have contributed to the hazard; for such hazards, the Department of Justice oversees negotiations to determine which PRPs are responsible for the cleanup and to what extent
