In Australia, country-of-origin labeling requirements for domestic products only apply to packaged fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, fish/shellfish/seafood, and peanuts.
In Egypt, country-of-origin labeling requirements for frozen fish only apply if the fish/shellfish/seafood is packaged.
European Union legislation applicable to the 15 member states mandates country-of-origin labeling for beef products only, not for all meats. Implementation of all European Union country-of-origin requirements, including inspections and enforcement activities, is the responsibility of each member state.
In India, country-of-origin labeling requirements are applicable only to prepackaged meat, fruits and vegetables, fish/shellfish/seafood, and peanuts. Country-of-origin labeling requirements do not apply to meat carcasses and meat cuts in either form.
In Mexico, country-of-origin labeling requirements for imported products are applicable only to prepackaged meat, fruits and vegetables, fish/shellfish/seafood, and peanuts.
