Grace shipping invoices, 3 shipments of vermiculite ore from the Libby mine were made to this site in May 1969. The amount of ore in each shipment was not available. At the time of EPA's visit, this facility was an automotive research and management center. The construction of the Center had been completed in 1955. Company officials had no knowledge of vermiculite ever being processed at the site. According to the company officials, vermiculite could have been used for packaging material. On the basis of this information, EPA determined no further action was needed. |
