Grace shipping invoices, 2,068.6 tons of vermiculite ore from the Libby mine were shipped to this site between November 1968 and January 1986. EPA found that this facility no longer existed. The facility was believed to have been a gypsum manufacturing or mining facility. EPA found that Kaiser Gypsum had operated at the site until 1970 and then Republic Gypsum operated there until 1987. Industry sources indicated the facility was dismantled in the late 1980s. James Hardie Company purchased Western Gypsum in 1991 and was not aware of this facility.
