Grace shipping invoices, 45 tons of vermiculite ore from the Libby mine were shipped to this site between April 1968 and September 1970. EPA spoke by telephone with a company official and learned that the building on this site had been demolished in 1992. This official said that, in 1970, the company had manufactured a product that contained about 100 pounds of vermiculite obtained from W.R. Grace. The company had also used about 500 pounds of vermiculite for packaging material over a 10-year period. EPA determined no further action was needed. |
