3 | Shed 31, Dundalk Marine Terminal, Port of Baltimore, 2700 Broening Highway, Baltimore, Maryland | Shipping | Unknown | Yes-exact date of visit unknown but occurred in 2000 | No | Although an EPA database compiled from W.R. Grace shipping invoices contained no records indicating Libby ore was shipped to this site, this site appeared in documents provided by W.R. Grace. At the time of EPA's visit, the site was a cargo storage facility located at the Dundalk Marine Terminal in the Port of Baltimore. The cargo facility listed as Shed 31 was being used only to store containers and packaged materials that were shipped elsewhere. The packaged materials were placed into containers for shipment. No loose bulk materials were handled at this site. EPA concluded that W.R. Grace had likely leased the storage terminal to ship packaged materials and that packaged materials placed in the containers were not likely to have contaminated the site. On the basis of this information, EPA decided no further action was necessary. |
