| Short Description |
Provides grants to stimulate integrated regional planning to guide state, metropolitan, and local investments in economic development, transportation, and housing. Also supports localities to undertake zoning and land use reforms that allow the real estate market to efficiently build sustainable communities. HUD partners with the Department of Transportation and the Environmental Protection Agency to encourage integrated metropolitan transportation, housing, land use, and energy planning and research. |
